Photo Recommendation

January 18, 2014

With the move to digital photography, we think we have lost the connection to the past with the loss of physical pictures.

Nothing could be farther from the truth.

With digital pictures and albums we have the ability to share them with more people at the same time over greater distances.

One of the best things we can do with our kids or grandkids, is to sit down together and catalog the pictures that we have or are taking with a description of what the picture is, who is in it, and maybe some thoughts of the situation at the time. I think back on the different family members that are gone and the opportunities that have been missed and it makes me sad to realize how much history has been lost.

If you use one of the cloud resources, shutterfly, flickr, etc., you can preserve the photos for a lot longer and you can even get the help of friends and relatives to add their memories from the photos too. It’s a great activity for rainy days.
